John Falla our Corparate Finance Director is to embark upon a transatlantic adventure this summer. John is competing in the 2009 OSTAR setting sail, single handed, form Plymouth to Newport, Rhode Island on May 25th on 36 foot yacht Banjaard.
He is one of 45 sailors taking part in hte 2900 mile race which is run every four years and is not for faint-hearted. The race is seen as the ultimate challenge for amateur sailors and when you consider that 4'000 people have scaled Mount Everest yet only 400 have completed the OSTAR it is easy to understand why.
